If pictures are worth a thousand words I figure that a video clip is even better.
My advice on using RainX is to start with clean glass and then follow the instructions on the bottle. I generally get a weeks worth of driving which is usually around 3000 miles before I need to retreat the windshield. The average driver with a car should be able to go at least two weeks if not a month between treatments. @QBall45
