My wife and I started talking about doing some home improvements not long after we bought the place. We knew it was in need of some exterior upgrades. The roof was functional but older. Some of the windows were newer though most looked to be original. The siding is that old narrow wood verity.
The plans have been made. The contractor contracted. And the funds for the project have been taken care or at the bank. The plan is to replace roof, windows,doors and siding.
Here are a few “before” pictures. As you can see it’s just time to reskin the house. Stay tuned for more pics as things progress.

The roof is in dire need of replacement.
All windows (28 total&) will be replaced.
The flat roof on the back porch will get pitched. The door above the porch will be removed and sided over.
