Snow?

Yesterday Minnesota and surrounding states were fairly well pounded by stormy weather.  High winds and heavy rain were common across much of the state. (I originally wrote this back on April 16,2012 and apparently forgot to publish it. Oops!)

The weather man predicted snow overnight.  I thought “yeah right it’s middle if April.”  Much to my dismay, I awoke in Central Minnesota this morning to snow on my rigs hood.  This was the typical late winter early spring type of snow… Heavy and wet… Weighting down tree branches, sticking to everything.  I was not surprised when I arrived at my destination this morning to find the underside of my rig packed with snow.  However, I was surprised to find that I had snow packed in tightly under the hood and on top of the transmission.

This next one is an all to familiar sight for us big rig drivers.

This is not turning out to be the typical garden variety month of April.  What’s next?  100° temps maybe?  I sure hope not.
