Pouring Lead

This evening while the Mrs and kids were watching TV, I headed to the garage to pour some lead. The final total for the night is just over 50 pounds of freshly cast lead projectiles ready for powder coating and then loading. When I began working with both 9mm and 45ACP molds side by side I struggled finding my rhythm. When I kept with one mold until sprue plate got hot and then switched to the other things began to go smoothly.

Approximately 1740 124 grain 9mm truncated cone projectiles.

Approximately 750 200 grain 45ACP semi wad cutters.

Until next time… Keep your head down and your powder dry.
